The STORM 80c is a full RGBWW fixture, so it produces accurate white light and saturated colour from the same head. The BLAIR-CG engine holds CRI 97+ and covers over 90 percent of the Rec.2020 colour space, which means skin tones stay natural and colours stay true whether you are matching daylight, warming an interior toward candlelight, or mixing a bold colour wash. The 1,800K to 20,000K range is far wider than a typical bi-colour light, so a single fixture adapts to almost any environment.

Three ways to power it

Few lights in this class are this flexible about power. The STORM 80c runs from a standard AC adapter in the studio, from a USB-C 100W power bank when you are travelling light, or from a V-Mount battery on location using the Handheld Bracket. The full Bowens ecosystem

Its Mini ProLock mount is Bowens-compatible, so the STORM 80c works with a huge range of modifiers: the CF4 Fresnel and CF4 Barn Doors for control, the Light Dome 40 and Lantern 30 for soft light, and the standard reflector for punch. One small light can be a hard key, a soft source or a shaped accent depending on what you clip on the front.

You can adjust the 80c from its onboard controls, from the Sidus Link app on your phone or tablet, or over DMX, RDM and CRMX for wireless integration into a larger rig. Four dimming curves give you smooth, flicker-free control for high-frame-rate work.
