About Atomos

Australian-engineered tools for image capture.

Atomos was founded in Melbourne in 2010 with a simple idea: give every filmmaker access to the recording and monitoring quality once reserved for high-end studios. Its Ninja and Shogun monitor-recorders brought Apple ProRes and RAW capture, bright HDR displays and professional tools into a single on-camera device.

Today Atomos gear sits on cameras across documentary, commercial, broadcast and cinema production worldwide, adding higher-quality codecs, accurate monitoring and cloud-connected workflows to almost any rig. Prosales Broadcast supplies the range locally, with expert specifying, rental and accredited service.
