The DJI Ronin 4D Flex Extension Unit separates the Ronin 4D gimbal camera from the main body, letting the recording, power and transmission systems sit apart so handheld weight drops to as little as 1.8 kg.
A 2 m ultra-thin coaxial cable carries lossless 8K high-speed signal between the two halves, opening up low-angle, tight-space and rig-mounted shots that the integrated body cannot reach, with tool-free switching back to the standard setup on set.
