Refund policy
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be confident in every purchase. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, faulty goods and warranty claims work, alongside your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
1. Overview
If something isn't right, contact us first and we'll guide you through the quickest resolution — a return, exchange, repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.
2. Change-of-mind returns
Unopened, unused items in their original, undamaged packaging may be returned for a refund or exchange. Please notify us within 7 days of delivery and return the goods within 14 days. Items must be complete — with all accessories, manuals and free gifts — and accompanied by proof of purchase. A handling/restocking fee may apply, and original delivery charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
3. Items we can't accept back

Special-order, pre-order, backorder or custom-configured items brought in specifically for you.

Opened software, firmware, licences or activated digital products.

Consumables, gels, tapes, batteries and similar once opened.

Ex-demo or clearance items sold “as is” (clearly marked at purchase).

Items returned incomplete, damaged through misuse, or without proof of purchase.
4. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If an item arrives faulty, damaged in transit or not as ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund at no cost to you. Goods that fail within the CPA implied-warranty period are covered in line with the Act.
5. Manufacturer warranty
Most products carry a manufacturer's warranty. We handle warranty claims for items purchased from us — warranty length and terms vary by brand. See also Help & Support and Book a Service.
6. Rentals
Rental equipment is governed by your signed rental agreement — including condition, deposits, late returns and damage — and is not subject to this returns policy.
7. How to start a return
Email info@prosales.co.za or call +27 11 462 0000 with your order number and a short description (and photos, for faulty or damaged goods). We'll issue return instructions — please don't ship anything back before we've confirmed.
8. Refunds
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method once we've received and inspected the returned goods, typically within 5-10 business days. Your bank may take additional time to reflect the funds.
