The Blackmagic Design Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G is a single tiny converter that handles conversion in both directions at the same time. It can take an SDI input and output HDMI while simultaneously taking an HDMI input and outputting SDI, even when the two signals are in different formats. That makes one unit do the job of two separate converters.
This version ships with a mains power supply (PSU) for reliable standalone operation, while the USB-C connection can also draw power from a monitor, laptop or computer and is used for software updates.

Two Converters in One
Convert SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI at the same time from a single unit. Each direction can even run a different video format simultaneously.
Automatic Format Matching
The converter detects SD, HD and 3G-SDI with selectable Level A or B and automatically matches outputs to the connected source. There is nothing to set up.
Included Power Supply
This version includes a mains power supply for fully standalone use. The USB-C port can alternatively draw power from a monitor, laptop or computer.
