This robust stainless‑steel skid plate is specifically designed to mount securely to the base of the STORM 1000c or STORM 1200x light fixtures. It elevates the fixture so that a CF12 Fresnel and CF12 barn doors can be attached without contacting the ground. A rear cutout accommodates the head cable during tilt adjustments, allowing the light assembly to sit stably on carts, shelves, or uneven surfaces.
Constructed for durability and safety on set, the skid prevents accidental tipping—even when fully loaded with accessories. At approximately 1.1 kg (2.4 lb) and measuring 37.8 × 27.8 × 12.5 cm, it balances solid performance with minimal added weight and footprint.
